MWHO MISSION & VISION

Our mission is to be the village that moves mothers from survival to self sufficiency. We meet mothers where they are, connecting them to pathways that promote healing, stability, and long-term transformation.

OUR VISION

We are rebuilding the maternal care system rooted in accessibility, compassion, and collective care. Our vision is a world where every mother, regardless of circumstance, can access the essentials, support, and opportunities needed to thrive.

JOIN US IN BUILDING OUR VILLAGE
  • SURVIVAL IS THE REAL MATERNAL HEALTH CRISIS.

60% of mothers report struggling to provide basic needs. Every day, mothers across our communities face impossible choices between food or formula, rent or diapers, gas or groceries.True maternal health begins with safety, shelter, and support.
  • Together is the way forward.

We believe in building a village where mothers are never left to survive alone. Community aid and shared responsibility turn compassion into tangible change. Collective care is the cure.
  • From Survival to Stability.

Every delivery, every resource, every conversation is designed to help mothers build stability, confidence, and independence.
  • Access is EVERYTHING.

Support should never stop at the system. Our last-mile approach ensures help reaches the homes and communities that need it most.

Our Village in Action

OUR WORK, ACTUALLY WORKS

From 2023-2024 we grew exponentially in reach, connection, and successful outcomes. We helped mothers from all walks life across Georgia, showing that our model not only works, but is filling a significant gap in our maternal care system.

Provide Essentials to a mom in crisis or transition

FUND A HELPING HAND BOX

What it is:
A care package filled with essential items tailored to a mother’s immediate needs. Diapers, formula, wipes, hygiene supplies, and tools to support baby and mother’s well-being.

Why it matters:

Many mothers in navigating survival, crisis or transition go without the bare essentials. This box offers immediate relief and communicates, “You are seen. You are supported.” It also acts as the first touchpoint into our care navigation system.

GIVE A HELPING HAND

Relieve urgent financial stress.

Buy Groceries

What it is:
Provide a week of nutritious groceries delivered directly to a family, ensuring children and parents have meals when they need them most.

Why it matters:
Food insecurity often push a mother further into survival mode. Increasing the risk of incarceration and recidivism. Relieving this stress allows her to begin the stability phase of our model.

FEED A FAMILY

Celebrate new life while providing dignity and joy

Sponsor a Community Baby Shower

What it is:
A celebratory event for expecting and new mothers, especially those impacted by incarceration, lack of support, financial hardship, or housing instability. Includes gifts, education, emotional support, and a safe circle of community.

Why it matters:
Baby showers are about more than gifts—they symbolize belonging and hope. For many, this may be their only celebration of motherhood.
