Our mission at Maternal World Health Organization is to guide mothers in crisis or transition to vital resources, support, and restorative pathways that promote healing, stability and long term transformation.

We are building a new world in maternal care—one rooted in dignity, cultural pride, and purpose.
We envision a future where every mother, in every journey, is met with compassion, stability, and the support she needs to rise—from surviving to thriving. Whether navigating postpartum, reentry, housing instability, or emotional healing, she is never alone. Together, we restore what has been lost—her identity, her voice, her second chance, her village.
As we build this global care village, we honor and restore cultural heritage, especially within communities of younger generations who are mixed or American-born, ensuring traditions, languages, and legacies are kept alive and passed forward with pride.
This is more than care—it’s a movement. A purpose-driven, faith-led collective redefining maternal health, one rooted in healing, community, and cultural restoration.

Referral & Intake
A mother is referred by a partner or contacts us directly. Our team performs a trauma-informed assessment to understand her unique needs.
Stability Plan
Reset Plan
We stabilize first: safe housing, food, mental health care, and emergency support. She’s given a customized plan for her next steps.
Care navigation
Restorative Guidance
Each mother is paired with a Care Navigator who connects her to trusted partners in our network for therapy, housing, job help, and more.
Wellness and Growth
Rise Through Wellness
As she finds her footing, she enters purpose discovery, joins healing circles, receives wellness care, and engages in leadership programs.

She graduates from crisis and now lives in her power—with continued access to support, opportunities, and the chance to become a village mentor herself.

From 2023-2024 we grew exponentially in reach, connection, and successful outcomes. We helped mothers from all walks life across Georgia, showing that our model not only works, but is filling a significant gap in our maternal care system.
Provide Essentials to a mom in crisis or transition
FUND A HELPING HAND BOX
What it is:
A care package filled with essentials tailored to a mother’s immediate needs—like food, essential household supplies, postpartum supplies, hygiene items, diapers, formula, mental wellness tools, and culturally relevant comfort items.
Why it matters:
Many mothers in crisis or transition go without the bare essentials. This box offers immediate relief and communicates, “You are seen. You are supported.” It also acts as the first touchpoint into our care navigation system.
Relieve urgent financial stress.
Buy Groceries or Pay a Bill
What it is:
Direct relief through gift cards, grocery drop-offs, utility bill payments, or rent support that lifts a major burden during unstable times.
Why it matters:
Food insecurity, unpaid bills, and housing stress are often what push a mother further into survival mode. Increasing the risk of incarceration and recidivism. Relieving this stress allows her to begin the stability phase of our model.
Celebrate new life while providing dignity and joy
Sponsor a Community Baby Shower
What it is:
A celebratory event for expecting and new mothers, especially those impacted by incarceration, lack of support, financial hardship, or housing instability. Includes gifts, education, emotional support, and a safe circle of community.
Why it matters:
Baby showers are about more than gifts—they symbolize belonging and hope. For many, this may be their only celebration of motherhood.

What it is:
A circle of passionate professionals and advocates who offer mentorship, workshops, services, and community support to mothers going through the process-to-purpose journey.
Why it matters:
From therapists to doulas, yoga teachers to financial advisors—your skills can be life-changing. Connection is the foundation of our care model.
